Without being patronising, everything is broken down into easy steps and you are shown how you can take what you have learned and apply it to your practice. So often as teachers we are made to 'learn' things by just being given words to read and then implement. Here, Claire teaches me in the way I would like to teach my students, manageable chunks, clearly explained, with examples and modelled points. I have already recommended this course to our new Teach First teachers starting in September and will be using the Student Programme with my year 11 tutor group during form time. If you are unsure if this will benefit you as a teacher, I can absolutely say without any doubt that it will. 100% transformative.
Read LessIf you are a teacher, primary or secondary, this program is for you (I made sure of it!) The first 3 modules provide you with a crucial foundational knowledge around the brain and behaviour, which is applicable to humans big and small (it even helps us understand ourselves and our loved ones better!). The roadmap to behaviour management itself, is deeply rooted in the theories and neuroscience you learn about, and supports you to completely transform the way you approach behaviour. There are dozens of actionable and practical strategies embedded throughout, which although have more secondary examples, are easily adaptable to any context. No matter who you teach, no matter what you teach, no matter how often you teach them, this WILL be professional development that you will find incredibly revolutionary for your practice.
I chose to include pre-recorded videos rather than having a live course, because I know how busy teachers are. I want you all to be able to work through the content at your own pace, at a time that suits, especially because you are from all different time zones! You have access to the course for as long as you need it! You will be able to gain access to a PDF copy of the entire course content (a 130 page student workbook) so you have it at your fingertips for the rest of your career in teaching!
This is WORLDWIDE! My goal is to reach and support as many teachers in as many places as I possibly can. Although the checkout is in £GBP, you can pay with your card through Stripe. Conversion costs can differ bank to bank, some have no fees and others do, so please check with your bank if you have any concerns.
